I saw Roger in 2002...I was getting EMDR therapy for being beaten severely and sexually assaulted...was crying everyday...struggling with fear in a way I never had before --- and Roger's dry style didn't exactly help me see the forest from the trees...often his comments were in my mind far off...I didn't want to examine religion being dogmatic...or facing myself in ways I wasn't comfortable with...HOWEVER...slowly...his extreme level of experience, abstract intellectual nature and downright patience won me over. Roger is a very very talented therapist...and he literally nuetralized my fears, my traumas slowly unwound...and I began not crying anymore...in turn, my emo. instability regained balance...and he helped me...in ways, I can honestly say I couldn't help myself --- I don't believe he knows, how much of an impact he had on my life...and yet...he did! Hats off to you, Roger...20 plus years later, I'm turning out alright --- Thank you to you, giving me my life back!!
