I made an appt to come in and have my first eye exam with this practice. I was new because my insurance no longer covered my previous place. However, the Saturday before my Monday appt, my right eye became inflamed and I removed my contact lenses. I went in on Monday and lo and behold was diagnosed with 4 corneal ulcers! I am highly allergic to all normal antibiotics except 1, and Dr. Bhavsar had to figure out what was going to work for my eye. She was thoughtful, asked a lot of questions, and prescribed a drop that I had to use 1x per hour for 48 hrs straight! I woke up all night and stayed faithful to the regimen. I then had to come in every 2 days to be examined and by day 4 I was down to 1 drop every 4 hrs and my eye was clearing up. Nevertheless, because I have an autoimmune disease, Dr. Bhavsar sent me to a corneal Ophthalmologist. All I can say is I would have never received this kind of engaged care with the optometrist across the road that I was going to for over 7 years!
