I've been a patient of Dr Lamalva for +/- 15 years. As I turned 50, like most people reading was becoming a challenge - she set me up with Mono Vision Contact Lenses (the type you can wear 24/7 for 30 days), and it was great. As age increased and I maxed out on the lens strengths avialble, she recommended I have cataract surgery, and she referred me to Dr Melki, who did both eyes and did a great job. Dr Lamalva has been the best doctor of any discipline that I have ever used - she is knowledgeable, explains everything perfectly, and knows how to fix one's vision problems. My vision after the 2 cataract surgeries is astonishing - the best I have been able to see in over 20 years and with no further need for contacts or glasses, and have great distance vision and can read fine print in a dark restaurant with no problem. She is the best.
