If you feel like giving up on physical therapy and think that you just have to accept pain as a part of life, try Life’s Work Physical Therapy first! After a total knee replacement, insurance required using a large, hospital based physical therapy group. Despite doing all the exercises and following all instructions, after 6 months, my gait was still off and significant knee pain continued. It was exhausting and discouraging. My doctor recommended I see Sandy Stryker and her team at Life’s Work Physical Therapy and I am beyond grateful. Sandy and her team immediately corrected issues that affected my ankle, knee and hip. Even after the first session, walking improved and pain subsided dramatically. Therapists work on my joints and tissue at each session, observe movements, and make exercise adjustments to keep progress going in the right direction. They have a deep understanding of human anatomy, understand what causes pain, listen and give feedback, and genuinely care about g
