Dr. Miller helped me to identify the real issues I was struggling with which were often "issues behind the issue" I originally said. We not only talked but she gave me (or helped me develop) real tools that I could use. I still refer to some of the them 3 years later. She helped me create phrases I could use with my family that were authentic from/for me but not enraging to them. I loved the "behaviors/tools" focus of therapy.
