My 90yo father had severe lymphadema in his legs from past prostate radiation and a stripped vein used for a triple bypass. His legs and feet were like tree trunks and they “sweated”lymph fluid. Shannon explained his diagnosis and how treatment worked at every visit as well as addressing anxiety or depression that could contribute. She did an extraordinary job doing lymph massage from head to toe each session before then wrapping each leg, including toes. She’s the only person that has ever done the toes and it worked. Her office has soothing background instrumental music and it was more like a spa experience. My dad looked forward to treatment. His swelling went down to his normal skinny legs none of us had seen in years. ShanNon knows more about the lymph system than any doctor or nurse we’d ever met and helped us push they insurance to get the expensive pump he needed for home use. She is absolutely the best.
