Dr. McKinney was my therapist (biweekly), 2002-2012. I feel confident in describing her as exceptionally bright, insightful, and gifted. Her commitments to her patients and to her own personal and professional development are unswerving. An example: Dr. McKinney perceived an error in my medical diagnosis and medication that led me to further psychiatric consultation, resulting in significant changes that have improved chemical imbalances I had not understood but had struggled with for years.
