When I showed up at Dr. Barker's office, I had just been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma. He was (is) incredibly helpful in educating me on my disease. He did not give me the party MD line, but a deep discussion as to treatments, options and my personal health. He agreed the 1st thing was surgery to "get it out"! But his help on how to mitigate nausea, swelling, treatment of necrotic tissue caused by a surgery side effect were all very helpful and successful. None of the things he recommended were brought up by my main Dr's. He has become my main health Dr.
