Dr. Stecker changed my life and I am so grateful for her! She was at all times thoroughly respectful and professional, while also managing to be warm and caring. At the beginning of our time together she asked for my goal, and I said I wanted to be able to handle life like an adult, but it seemed completely impossible with my legacies of trauma and emotional outbursts. Dr. Stecker patiently coached me through talk therapy, EMDR, EFT, and DBT without ever pushing any technique or asking me to do more than I felt comfortable. I now feel like the adult I am, and my children are blessed with a mom who can handle life for the first time in 40 years. Dr. Stecker is the best therapist I ever had and I highly recommend her.
