I was an emotional mess and I felt so seen and heard. Stephanie had her own relatable stories and I felt like she cared and understood what I was going through. Even though it was embarrassing to come undone in tears wearing a paper robe, I felt so relieved to have that conversation and spend the time with her. Also they got me in within a day of calling for that appointment. It probably helped that I broke down in tears on the phone with the scheduler.
