I was Susan's coworker while she was finishing her Masters, before she was done and licensed. I was in an abusive relationship but did not recognize it as such. She helped me realize my own worth, the potential for harm to me and my kids, and was integral in my path toward a healthier, happier life. She never made me feel guilty, silly, or less, but always acted with respect, honesty and humor. She has a come alongside personality, compassion, wisdom and integrity. I highly recommend her.
