I've seen Dr Doss for several years now. I am a 46 year old man who found out I was bipolar and had a serious autoimmune disorder within 6 months of each other when I was 41 years old. Dr Doss was very helpful as I processed through the things I felt I lost, and move on into more productive things. When we started I was a ball of nerves and in a constant rage. Dr Doss went and made me a checklist of techniques and exercises for when I felt hypomanic or depressive which I read every morning on my fridge. I rarely have those bipolar flare ups, and I control them now. I grew up in a southern family with 3 boys and my dad, and had never felt therapy was worth it, and that it would never work on me. She won't fix your problems for you. She provides advice and tools to let you work with long term. They've saved me in crises several times the past 3 years of COVID isolation. Dr Doss was not the 1st therapist I saw but she was the one I stuck with for several years now.
