Tara helped me through a time of deep despair. I asked that we divided our time two ways: first, me getting a chance to safely express my grief and anger and second, setting goals together that would help lift me out of my depression. We followed that format each week, and I got better. For me, counseling only works if I know I can trust the therapist. I did feel that with Tara, so I was able to express thoughts and feelings without her judging me. That was important and very healing.
