Fairly new to the South Shore Dr. McAlear was the 4th optometrist we have been to in three years. He was the first to take the time to truly listen to the challenges my daughter (12yo) was having with her vision. He made extra time to perform detailed testing to determine what she needed. He was informative, explaining the purpose of various assessments making her feel at ease. I also admire his willingness to refer to other disciplines as appropriate. No hard sales for glasses, and offered a nice selection. So thankful my friend referred us to his office. Thank you Dr. Tom, so refreshing to find good clinicians who truly practice to help others!!
