I wish this was a google review so that more people could easily see this. I met NP Welch at the worst part of my life. I had been electrocuted on the job, completely destroyed my shoulders (both dislocated backwards, torn labrums, and biceps) as well as other issues. Being on workers comp I was defaulted to horrible doctors that did nothing. After fighting with workers comp for 4 MONTHS, I was finally able to see NP Welsh at Athens orthopedic. I don't know if she knew it then, maybe she did, but I was at my wits end. I had suffered with my shoulders and stomach issues for 4 months now and I couldn't take it anymore, my appointment with her was my last straw, if nothing was going to happen, I would end the pain personally. She did what every other doctor did not, she listened. She heard my story, saw my pain, immediately wanted to take action and knew I needed surgery. She absolutely saved my life that day. She's an angel and I will forever be grateful for her. May God bless you!
