Life saving. She is truly talented. Few therapists have both the skill and the personality type to pull off what she does. Yes it’s experience, but it’s more than that. Yes it’s her training but she’s adept at meeting you where you are in a way that makes you not only feel safer, but gives you the language and the tools to get there on your own. She gives you the map. Only you can take the steps, but she gives you all the tools to keep yourself alive. And I credit her with making it possible to survive long enough to figure out it was worth it to live.
