I have made more progress in my life, my mental and emotional health in the last two years with Valerie than I have the 15 years spent with various other therapists. She’s very sweet, nonjudgmental, and encouraging. She has a much better understanding of Trauma then all the therapists, psychologist and Psychiatrist combined which I’ve seen well over 30 different professionals in the last 20 years. It was impossible for me to heal from childhood and adult trauma that is stored in my body and subconscious. These issue could not have been resolved through the traditional CBT, DBT, anger management that most Therapist do. She’s certified in EMDR and that’s why I sought her out. If you have PTSD or CPTSD you probably know how frustrating it is to be told to apply willpower and cognitive skills to much deeper issue and that’s where EMDR and Valerie stepped to help me Completely reprocess the trauma, Removing triggers So that I was not responding in fight Or flight. She changed my life
