I feel so fortunate to have finally found a Latina therapist who offers invaluable cultural, gendered, and social nuance to mental health care. Yesenia compassionately listens and offers important insight that not only makes me feel heard, but makes me feel less alone. I've noticed that my coping skills have significantly improved since being a patient of Yesenia's and I am so much more aware of my negative self-talk. In my time seeing Yesenia, she switched practices and I enthusiastically followed her to her new practice. I didn't want to loose the progress we've made. If you're looking for a thoughtful therapist who is knowledgable and able to go toe-to-toe with your negative inner voice...she's your person.
