answer
Omentum fat is not normally removed by surgery. In fact, in my office patients present for liposuction or tummy tuck with increased intraperitoneal fat. This fat is not amenable to cosmetic surgery. We do NOT remove fat deep to the abdominal muscles. Diet and exercise may help to reduce mesenteric or omental fat.
