answer

Patients taking evening primrose oil in studies have reported only minor side effects like an upset stomach, nausea, headaches and loose stool. Most people can avoid these side effects by taking this supplement with meals or in smaller doses. Evening primrose oil is not recommended for pregnant women because it may cause uterine contractions. Schizophrenic patients taking anti-psychotic medications could experience an increase risk of epilepsy. This supplement is not recommended for people with blood disorders and those taking blood thinners.
