A knee curl is a resistance training exercise in which you lie on your stomach with your legs full extended and a load is attached to the back of the calf, and the hamstring muscles are engaged to bring the lower leg closer to the thigh by bending the knee. To perform a knee curl lie flat on your back with your spine in neutral alignment and core engaged. Contract your hamstrings as you exhale and bring the lower leg towards the thigh, as the lower leg comes close to the thigh inhale as you slowly lower the leg back down.
