[MUSIC PLAYING] Hi, I'm Dr. Miller, and here's a smart tip you can enjoy with your next cup of coffee.
Keep your heart strong and blast fat by adding a swirl of cinnamon. This spice may be especially helpful for people
who are overweight. People who are obese typically experience more inflammation and oxidative stress, two factors
that set the stage for heart disease and other health problems. In one study, obese people with prediabetes took a cinnamon extract, called Cinnulin, twice a day.
After 12 weeks, they experienced less stress and inflammation. And they even gained a bit of lean muscle. Researchers think Cinnulin may help cells take in sugar
and use insulin better. So enjoy a shot of cinnamon in your coffee or tea to help you stay healthy and slim.
