A thyroid problem can make you forgetful.
And the reason is that the same chronic underlying inflammation that can be causing your thyroid problem can, believe it or not,
be causing inflammation in your brain. And when those brain changes happen, it can affect how you think. It can affect your--
how quickly you process things. It can even affect decision making. If you have forgetfulness, and you're just having trouble
thinking clearly, then there are some things you can do. And the first thing you want to do is think about an elimination diet,
because an elimination diet can help you get the things out of your system that are triggers for that chronic inflammation.
It usually takes about 10 days to see changes. And the big things that you want to think about taking out of your diet are gluten and dairy.
