Urinary incontinence means the loss of urine, when you don't intend it, leaking of urine.
There's a couple of different kinds of urinary incontinence. Perhaps the most common, most familiar one,
is what we call stress urinary incontinence, when you cough or sneeze there's a little bit of a loss of urine. Mixed urinary incontinence would be
some stress urinary incontinence, with just some actual leaking. And it's due to a relaxation of the muscles that
control the bladder and keep the urine in place. It's called a sphincter muscle. So if those muscles are not as strong, then leaking can occur.
And it has a terrible impact on a woman's life, but it's entirely treatable.
