Vitamin C is a very important nutrient. It is found in lots of fruits and vegetables, especially
fruits and citrus fruits. But also, papaya has very, very high levels of vitamin C. It can help your skin stay young and healthy.
Why is that? Because vitamin C provides the building blocks for collagen. If you have a good layer of collagen
within your skin, you look very, very young and healthy.
When you don't have enough vitamin C, guess what. Remember, it's called scurvy. Your skin breaks down and you get bruising.
And if you have a cut, for example, you can't heal it, because to heal those cuts and wounds,
you need collagen formation. Vitamin C is going to make sure the collagen forms under the skin, providing a stable layer for
to have that nice sheen. So you need a lot of vitamin C. And again, you're gonna get that from your fruits and vegetables.
So make sure you're eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, even if you're on a low-carb diet. [AUDIO LOGO]
