I have been living with early stage breast cancer since October 2021.

It would have to be perseverance. No matter what, you have to physically, mentally

continue despite any difficulty or hurdle that the journey throws your way.

Having early breast cancer makes me feel powerful. One out of eight women get diagnosed with early breast

cancer, but being able to turn that statistic, and being an advocate, and being a peer

makes me feel powerful in my community. I did not have any prior medical knowledge

of cancer or early breast cancer before my diagnosis. So it is my responsibility to not only educate my family,

but educate my community. Just actually being outside and walking,

picking up more fruits and vegetables, and swapping out teas for more water, and staying hydrated.
