Dr Klugman is always polite, he's always been extremely patient with me, that in itself is a heck of a feat. He listens to every word, sometimes he interjects to clarify, and you can see him listening to and processing what you're saying. He keeps up on the latest treatments & tech for this field, he actually understands what he's talking about, will explain things so you everyone can understand, and he is the consummate professional. I've been going through an absolute nightmare for the last few years due to complications with my guts, but that is about to be in the rearview. I'm pretty sure he's saved my life at least a few times since I my first consult in 2013. In critical or emergency situations, he will punch openings into his schedule for you, or help get same day testing. You have to do your part, too. If there's an issue, a nurse or assistant will intervene. I know this first hand.I wish more doctors were made from his mold. He's an absolute treasure to us sick folks.
