Patient Reviews
May 20, 2023
I have been monitored for a few years for a growing brain aneurysm. My Neurologist advised me to see a Neurosurgeon with my MRA's to determine if it's removal was deemed necessary. The 1st one I consulted suggested yes, and either a stent or clip was the way to go. I then went to Dr. Riina who explained that I have the "good" type of brain aneurysm; only 2% rupture. He asked me to have one more test, a CTA, which I am having, and his group will transfer those images into 3D. If he then thinks surgery is the only option, it will be performed through micro surgery. All in all, a totally different approach than I was first told about and a lot less invasive. I am totally delighted that I consulted w/ Dr. Riina & trust him 1000%.
