Patient Reviews
Aug 08, 2023
Started seeing Dr. Hirsch in 2018 to monitor a tumor on my brain, he would send me to get a mri every 3 months, the tumor grew to the point it needed to come out, February 2020 he did surgery to remove it, this was not fun, intensive care for 3 days, then 3 days in a room,, after the surgery a serious infection developed due to my system rejecting the piece of skull that had to be removed, Dr.Hirsch did surgery again to try and save the piece of skull and couldn't, so it had to be removed, that left my head looking like a deflated basketball, me I never saw Dr. Hirsch,(he monitored my recovery very closely) the tumor was benign he had to have a artificial piece made to re-inflate my headhis P.A. (Halley) was no doubt heaven sent. She saw me every day, she had the same outlook I did, don't cry about something that has to happen, we had a laugh session every day, she REALLY MADE BRAIN SURGERY FUN! believe me!, his office staff are wonderful, I feel at home every time I walk in,

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
