Patient Reviews

I had a back surgery in 1993 with Dr. Seelig as neurosurgeon and Dr. Georgis as the orthopedic at Scripps and this was an extensive surgery lasting 9.5 hours with fusion from L-3 to L-5 and Harrington Rods installed. This was over 27 years ago and to this day I have never had a back problem (I am knocking on wood now). The rods are still in and I cannot say enough of how great Dr. Seelig and Dr. Georgis both were as this surgery has withstood the test of time. I remember after my surgery they said I would have to give up certain sports like skiing and hockey. I was skiing double blacks that same year and have played hockey in men's leagues for years. Dr. Seelig is simply the best.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
