I wish I could give him a 10! Surgery Jan 17, 2024. I had 7 years of chronic back pain, nerve pain, even started drop foot syndrome. Four different orthopedic and-or neurosurgeons insisted I needed a fusion of L-3 L-4 L-5 due to spondylolisthesis, disc protrusion, stenosis, hypertrophy of the ligamentum flavum, arthritis and more. Thank God for my '5th' opinion! Dr Biscup told me I did NOT need a fusion, that I needed to remove the issues in my back that were causing the severe stenosis, back and nerve pain. I had microscopic endoscopic laminectomy surgery. I did not know that was an option for me, and have been pain free ever since. He is brilliant, an excellent communicator, beyond accomplished, kind, caring, attentive - the best investment I have ever made was hiring Dr. Biscup!
