For those living with kidney failure, there are a few things you should be mindful of. [MUSIC PLAYING]
If you notice any of these symptoms, call your health care provider. You notice a change in the amount of urine
you are producing, if you feel the symptoms of a bladder infection. These are things like urinating more frequently,
often accompanied with a burning sensation. A bladder infection may also cause you to experience difficulty while starting to urinate,
and you may notice blood in your urine. If you have worsening nausea and/or vomiting,
if you notice new or a change in swelling such as in your legs, feet, or hands, if you feel confused, dizzy,
or feel like you are about to faint, if you notice a significant change in weight, ask your health care provider for limits.
You should also call your health care provider if you experience any issues with your medications. Certain symptoms, however, may require
immediate medical attention. If you have kidney failure and have at any point lost consciousness, you should call 911 right away.
