One Of the most common symptoms of a slow functioning
thyroid is feeling cold all the time. And the reason for this is really simple. Your thyroid is literally your body's thermostat.
It's what keeps your heat and your energy up. So when the thyroid starts to slow down, your temperature goes down with it and you feel more cold.
By the same token, if you have hyperthyroid, then your thermostat is turned up too high. And then you're going to feel really overheated, even
in normal temperature rooms. And you might find yourself sweating a lot.
