Transcript
Bladder problems are a very common issue in women, especially as they get older. 65% of all women will have some type of urinary incontinence
in their lifetime. And the most common reason that they have problems with their bladder is from childbirth.
A vaginal delivery can cause tears in the connective tissue. And then over time, those tears can cause problems with the bladder falling and hypermobile urethra,
where the urethra you cough and you sneeze and you leak urine. Also, when a woman goes through menopause, the lack of estrogen
can cause the natural tissue to dry and cause the urethra to sort of shrink and almost stay open at rest.
