Similar to if a person develops a cough and it continues, you're going to seek out treatment. If a teenager shows those types of signs,
you want to have an evaluation for them and err on the side of caution. [MUSIC PLAYING]
A change in the level of functioning of the person, and, typically, we're talking about teenagers.
So if a parent sees that, or teachers see that there's a change in the level of functioning,
that the person may begin to be socially withdrawn, that the person may do less well in school,
that the person may begin to have some unusual, thoughts some unusual foci, that's
a time to seek out an evaluation to see what's going on
and get assistance.
