Since psoriasis is absolutely not contagious,
there's nothing-- there's not a bacteria, a fungus, or any kind of virus that contributes to whether or not you have psoriasis.
And you can certainly touch someone who has it. If your loved one has it, you're not going to get it from them. It's just a very genetic skin condition
with a lot of unknown factors. Thankfully there's a lot of research going on right now, so I think we'll continue to learn more about this disease state, but it is absolutely not contagious.
