Some of the most common triggers for psoriasis include
smoking, especially if you have the palmar plantar variant-- that can be really bad. Stress is a big one for almost all skin
conditions certainly eczema, acne, but definitely psoriasis can make-- when we're stressed, we increase our cortisol level,
which is our stress hormone, and then that feeds into our skin disease getting worse. And so we want to do things to make
sure we minimize stress and control the factors we can, like smoking.
