Women suffering from insomnia more or less than men is a really interesting question. We measure sleep by putting people in laboratories
and hooking them up with a bunch of electrodes. And seeing what their brain waves do. And seeing what kind of stages of sleep they're doing.
And how often they're awakening. Well, when we do that, men wake up more often,
sleep more lightly, and don't sleep as well. But if we want to measure sleep by just asking you,
hey, how did you sleep? Women complain of sleep problems twice as often as men do.
And so women just don't wake up feeling rested enough. And more often, they complain of numerous awakenings
insomnia
