If I were to wear my hair up today, I would have to make sure that I dust myself off.
Special events or just being out in public can be tricky sometimes, especially when you have a disease that's-- can be seen by others.
A lot of us, if we were diagnosed early on, were bullied about it. So it's definitely something in our back of our head constantly, wondering if someone's looking at us,
somebody's staring. Are they going to think we're contagious? Earlier in my life, I would say that I
would hide from the public. I wouldn't want to go out. I wouldn't want to do things wearing dresses that would show certain areas that I wanted to hide.
But now that I'm older and I've gained more confidence and have found more outlets outside of just my skin,
I am more in the stage of life of educating instead of feeling bad about myself.
