Life Unscripted: A hard day with plaque psoriasis
Mohammed describes how he feels on a typical hard day living with plaque psoriasis.
Transcript
[MUSIC PLAYING] A hard day typically living with plaque psoriasis looks like, for me at least, when it's dark, cold outside,
it is snowing heavily, I am locked up inside my room in my bed watching TV,
not wanting to go outside, not wanting to meet people. On a hard day, my skin will usually
feel a lot more itchier, which means I have the tendency to scratch it a lot more, which oftentimes,
can lead to small cuts. It does take a very long-term approach medically, and also holistically, when it comes
to treating this condition. Whenever I go to the doctor, which I recommend to everybody, go with questions. And essentially, just having a conversation with my doctor
helps to ensure that I get the best viable solution from her. [AUDIO LOGO]
